This beauty be the Bluenose 2 in Toronto June 2008. Proudly flying her colours and ours.

Captain's Blog

Welcome to Wooden Ships. We are a four piece acoustic electric rock band from Toronto with a repertoire of vocal hits from the 60's through 80's especially the 4 part harmony work of CSNY, Eagles, Beatles etc.

Drums Ray Shea, A veteran of many Toronto bands sings high tenor and all the Don Henley parts. He's a very groovy cat who keeps the Ship clear of rocks and shoals and on a steady course through adventure on the high C's, always steering us safely back to port. He's hot to trot after being marooned in Edmonton the past few months.

Guitar Geoff Iwamoto, Our fearless captain and inspiration to the rest of the scurvy crew. He has a number of platinum records on the bulkhead but can't remember what for. Spends most of his time with the cabin boys and girls.

Bass & Guitar Franc Mosbaugh, A record producer with a CD of his own songs as well. Our vocal arranger. You know what they say... big ears, big heart, big you know what, Big talent. Once sank a yellow submarine with a pink torpedo.

Guitar & Bass John Jackson, Also a producer with numerous recordings to his credit including two CDs of his own songs. Sings bass & alto. The pirate of the crew with many a mutiny in a checkered past. Soon to be forced to walk the plank.

Sat April 18 Feathers Many thanks to the fans who keep coming out to this great little east end pub at 962 Kingston Rd. Come on out and cheer on a bunch of old fools who sing and play pretty well together.
